Namiko means “wave child,” a reflection of our surf and skate culture, a space where everyone is welcome & safe to express & be themselves.

to be a “wave child” is a way of seeing the world — artistic, free, open-minded, flowing, and always searching for connection, inspiration, and movement, just like the ocean. We’ve built Namiko as a space for those kinds of people: the dreamers, filmmakers, musicians, artists, and storytellers who see beauty in everyday moments.

Film & entertainment is a huge part of how we express that spirit. From movie nights under the stars, outdoor theatre, good music, and other events that bring the feeling of community that happens when people gather to experience something together.

More than just a café, Namiko Studio Cafe is a creative home for wave children — a place where coffee, tea, film, art, nature, and human connection all meet.

We serve the highest-quality coffee—grown sustainably and humanely, imported with care, and roasted fresh in Los Angeles, alongside offering exceptional matcha, delicious, unique boba milk teas, and freshly made pastries & SNACKS.
